~ To the jetty ~

This is the only way in and out of Paradise Island, Maldives. It was blazing hot that day but I just did not want to miss the opportunity to photograph the awesome blue colors. Soon me and my wife were back in the comfort of the room :)

~ Good morning! ~

On the 2nd day of our honeymoon, my wife and I came out of our room in the morning and realized that we had the whole beach to ourselves! We spent 5 minutes there sipping coffee and jumped in the sea for a much more more exciting activity - snorkling! (Photo shot using a tripod)

Good times! :)

~ The mini island ~

Going around Paradise Island in Maldives, we found another mini island (surprise!). I just could not resist asking my wife to go across and do a jump shot. But we did not do many photos (the jump could've been better) because of the unbearable heat. Minutes later we cooled off by jumping in the shallow water in front.

~ Welcome to Paradise! ~

Shot minutes after reaching Paradise Island Resort and Spa in Maldives. Me and my wife spent 5 memorable days here on our honeymoon.

~ Maldives - the blue world ~

One of the 1000+ islands in Maldives, which consists of 1,192 coral islands grouped in a double chain of 26 atolls, along the north-south direction, spread over roughly 90,000 square kilometres (35,000 sq mi), making this one of the world's most dispersed countries.

~ The not-so-easy descend ~

Going downhill is supposed to be easy, mostly. The 4 hours downhill trek from Thorong La pass to Muktinath was however anything but easy. Maybe it would have had been easy if we had not woken up at 2am and already walked for 8 hours straight!

~ The unlikely businesswoman ~

She has a tea shop in the middle of nowhere on the Annapurna Circuit trail. She had trouble doing calculations but it was in her best interest to serve the customers properly. I forgot to ask her name!

~ Lost ~

A man (possibly) looks for fossils in Kali Gandaki river, close to Kagbeni. The unique fossile stones are found all over shops and on the trial sold roughly for $5-$20.

To Thorong La pass (5416 m)

The thin air and low oxygen level makes it so much more difficult to trek to Thorong La pass - the world's largest pass. This was no doubt the most difficult day of the Annapurna Circuit trek.
